In January, I moved across state lines to be with my girlfriend and I found a job that pays wells. But I was bound to a contract that paid for my relocation and a sign on bonus. And as the time went on, the atmosphere of the job started going for good to I need to get the fuck out. It’s come to the point that I’m getting depressed just waking up to go. Before, I was more than happy to stay and work overtime. Now I watch the clock and I can’t wait to haul ass.
Hell, even other people who have come after me have left.
I’ve been searching for new jobs and I got interviewed for one and got hired damn near on the spot. I’m excited as hell and I just know this is the place I’d enjoy the most.
But I’d have to break the contract I signed and pay the money back, which honestly, I don’t mind. Long as I can get away.
Would any of you break a contract to a job depressed you? Or would you stick it out for the duration to avoid not having to pay the money back?
