Getting worried about recent no call no show employee. Help?

Hi all,

I manage 6 people at a marijuana farm and one of my recent hires has always been on time, even when he’s a couple minutes late he texts me. He’s an amazing employee, very well mannered, we are all a very tight knit group but suddenly he stopped showing up. I was texting with him Monday because he went to the doctors, then Tuesday and today (Wednesday) he was a no call no show. The crew is getting worried because this is very unlike him. He moved from the Midwest to here, has a roommate and cousin but that’s it. I have his address because I onboard everyone, but I feel like showing up to his apartment to check on him might be an invasion of privacy. I was also suggested to do a wellness check but that also seems too extreme.
