So I have a job offer I accepted and they're running a background check. When I was 21 I tried shoplifting a $8 headband from an athletic store, got caught, and had to go to court to get it solved. I was NEVER CONVICTED and settled with a "stay of adjudication," which means I plead guilty, but the judge does not accept my plea, therefore there is no conviction, i then entered a diversion program to do 16 hours of community service. It hasn't been a problem in the past with other corporate jobs, but I just get anxious whenever I apply. Do you think it would be an issue?
