What do I need to know about considering working for a start-up?

Just heard back today from a job I applied to on Sunday, offering me an interview this week.

I've worked in financial services for 11 years (mainly customer/client service/relationship management roles) and the last 2.5 years in an established (28years) financial service provider, so I don't really know much about startups, having always worked in very well established companies. I am also not a salesperson, I know what I'm good at and it isn't sales! More of a problem solver/get stuff done and cut through red tape/crap/garbage processes kind of person.

The potential employer is a multinational with employees in various countries and has been around since 2015. They raised a $30mil round of investment earlier this year, but I've never really looked into this kind of thing.

What can I expect from day-to-day employee life at a start-up? Are benefits usually solid/good? And what do I need to understand from their publicly available financial info to determine whether they'll be a (relatively) stable employer?

I really love the subject matter of what they do and from the job description, I have a feeling I'd really enjoy the role, but the idea of leaving a "safe bet" (as much as any job can be) is a little scary.
