Should i resign or get fired?

Hi everyone

I was given the option to resign or get fired. I have been working for a retail Company for 2 years. We earn by commission plus hourly pay. We need to sell enough to be able to keep the job. With covid happening i fall into deficit and my boss told me to resign before i got fired so i could have the option to get rehired in the future. She is a new manager and i do not trust her whatsoever. I saw a document that had the date from July 1st to December 1st for me to get out of deficit. Meaning that if they were trying to fire me it would be as far as December i am assuming.

Should I resign or let them fire me? Thanks
