Can I save $30k a year with a full time $15/hr job?

So I’m in third year of uni right now and I want to go to the US to study in an optometry school. They cost a lot (~40k per year) so I was thinking of taking a few years off and working a full time $15/ hr job to save up. I live with my parents so I don’t have to worry about any living costs so all the money I make can be kept in a savings account. Does this sound possible? Also, I live in Canada if that is of any help. Any information is useful and appreciated!
