I was a recruiter for one of the larger staffing agencies in the US. I quit a few months ago. Ask me any questions you have about recruiters!

The title is pretty self explanatory but I’ll elaborate a bit more here. I recently quit my job as a recruiter for a staffing agency. Without getting TOO specific, at least in the body if this post, I had problems with the recruiting industry as a whole, and how my position functioned, and felt it was time to move on.

However, I’m here to help and would be happy to clarify anything regarding the recruitment industry. Ask me any questions you have on dealing with recruiters, why recruiters say/do certain things, what you can do when in contact with a recruiter, etc. Anything at all really. If you all want to spew the typical hatred for recruiters thing, to be honest, I’ll probably agree with most of it, so that’s cool too.

I feel for all of you posting about your difficult job searches on here, so I just want to be able to shed light on the people you’re often dealing with.
