At the same company for a different position.
One of the major differences is that the new offer is for permanent full time whereas I’m currently temporary full time.
The second major difference is that this position is another step up from my existing position. It’s not harder in terms of learning the system but it’s a different environment because it’s a different department, and I only learned this new system two weeks ago for my current job. So, I feel really under-qualified.
The only thing that gets me is the permanent aspect of the job which is good security. Both jobs (the offer and the existing) are great experience.
I’m also worried that my current supervisor and coworkers would get mad at me for even considering this position given I just joined them like 3 weeks ago and that their department is also super understaffed and has significant turnover.
Would it be suitable to even interview for this job? Does anyone have any advice for being in a situation like this?
