I'm a home health rep. I've been with my current company for a couple of years and am very happy. My biggest competitor's rep just left the company, and they approached me with an offer to take her spot. It's a 10% raise with a 401k (which I do not currently have), a $5k sign on bonus, a very robust bonus structure, and a better account list.
Problem is, the company I work for currently has been so good to me. If I have a bad month, no one says anything except encouragement. They give you a million chances to do well before considering reducing your salary--basically, I'm completely safe here. That will not be the case at the new gig; they are much less forgiving. Additionally, their reps have a bit of a "reputation" of sleeping around with docs for referrals. This is something I have zero tolerance for and will not participate in, and also do not want to be associated with.
What would you do if you were me?
