Position listed brand new and "actively recruiting" on multiple job websites, but 30+ days old on company website. What do we think?

This may have been asked before but:

Was browsing on LinkedIn when I saw my dream job posted! Applied within the week only to realize the job had been posted on the company's website for 30+ days. Now I know from experience to trust the website over LinkedIn, which had said it was only up for a week, but the LinkedIn position listing is specially marked as "actively recruiting." Other job websites have even more recent postings!

Two things: What do we think my chances are of hearing back/that they are actually still recruiting? And does anyone have advice to stand out for a position thats been up for a while?
