Job Search Question

Hi all,

I don't completely knew the intention of this post besides maybe seeking advice about how to handle my job search.

Long, long story short: I am actively seeking a new job. I work in marketing. I have been with the same company for just over 8 years. I am quite comfortable here and enjoy my coworkers and my tasks for the most part. My issue is that I am an "island" in the sense that I work by myself most of the time, and I have no real chance at getting promoted to a position I want, as I basically run my own department.

My salary is also performance based for the whole store, and our automotive industry has done strange things. My pay plan doesn't work well with our current inventory, but it could change by end of year. That said, it has the potential to make a comeback and I could earn $20,000 per year more.

So now that you know a bit more about my current situation.

I have three jobs that I am actively interviewing with, one of which I have an offer with.

I would work remotely, doing something similar but more focused than what I do now for multiple businesses. The pay is about the same as my current job during a worse than average month. The health insurance is about half the price. I would learn SIGNIFICANTLY more from these people about marketing processes and could make significantly more over the next year and a half. I do have an offer for them that I told them I would accept/deny by Monday.

I have another opportunity that I just had a second, hour long interview with. They probably pay more than my current job, but they are over an hour away. Part of me doesn't mind the drive, and honestly their hours are awesome at 9-4 most days, so I would hit less traffic and spend less time at work.

The third opportunity also has an upcoming second interview. Per their glassdoor, they might pay more than my current job. This is also a remote job.

So maybe my questions are...

Is it frowned upon to accept a job, then possibly promptly leave for another? The second and more likely at this point opportunity probably does pay more, but is further away.
