I feel insecure to ask reference from someone directly on the first chat. Its the bitter truth that, for company x I applied 20 times on the role at my level entry/intermediate but all-time got automated rejection or no response. Surprisingly when one person from that company approached me for a senior level role I got the call and obviously wasnt selected as they needed 5+ exp senior.
It happened many times, Its just one example. So, i wanted to connect with recruiters & people from those companies that I want to interview someday when they open position. And want me to get introduced to them. So that if any time I see a opening there at least I can ask someone to refer me to get the interview call.
But I donno how should I approach to recruiters & peoples so they accept my request. I followed connection note template from online and send them request but its like 1/100 people accepted. Please give me some advice. Without referral its impossible to land on interview.
