I got offered a serving job at a lodge and to be honest I am terrified. I haven't worked in a long time as stated above and my nerves are getting the better of me already. I tried serving in another state pre covid and I basically got eaten alive. This new place is smaller which is a plus but I feel like I am scarred from the first experience. The last place I worked at was extremely busy and fast paced, the staff did not offer any help, it was a sink or swim type situation and very clickish. I'm asking for advice from servers and or anyone who might be able to help me with the first day jitters. I really appreciate any feedback! Please help!
