Background check - HireRight

Hi all, I just wanted to know how HireRight works. I accepted a SWE internship offer and they sent me a HireRight link to fill in my information for background check. All I entered in the HireRight portal is the SSN and my legal name. I was wandering if they are going to check my employement history, credit score and other things if I just entered SSN and my name.
