Hello everyone, I work for a distributor in the HVAC industry. We hire for a lot of entry level positions including inside sales, quotes department, and service dispatchers. I currently am a dispatcher looking to go into either inside sales or quotes and am not being considered despite multiple phone calls, job applications and emails to the hiring managers. In the last 6 months they have hired 3 inside sales people with no industry experience. People that were making coffee at Starbucks or customer service with no technical skills.
What should I do? I mentioned it to HR that I am not being considered for any positions within the company and have not heard anything but crickets except a request for a current copy of my resume.
I make above average money for what I do but I'm bored where I'm at as I've been doing it for over 2 years.
Edit: it's worth mentioning My employment is in good standing with the company, I'm not on steps, haven't been written up or warned for anything. I show up on time every day, do everything that I'm asked of, get along with everybody, and go home.
