Anyone know why I was transferred?

I personally feel as though I’ve been a decent performer, and have been told so by others; however, my boss recently informed me that I’m being transferred to another team within my company. My boss told me that I didn’t do anything wrong, but I’m getting a bad feeling.

To all of the managers (or anyone really): What are the reasons to transfer an employee? Is there something else going on?
