Hello everyone,
Ok, to cut a long story short. I had a job interview at the start of the year, and was unsuccessful (the manager and team leader interviewing me didn’t even have the courtesy to call me back and tell me I didn’t get the position). I took it on the chin and did not contact them, I just carried on with the job hunting.
Fast forward a few months, last week I had an interview with the same organisation, but a different team. I felt a better rapport with the managers interviewing me this time round, and I actually preferred the job to the previous one. I got a call back the very same day and was offered the position, yay lol.
Anyway, it’s highly likely that I will bump into the people that interviewed me the first time around and didn’t contact me to tell me I had been unsuccessful. Will it be awkward and will they likely bring up the interview, should I say anything? I mean they’re a chance they will not even remember me. Funny thing is that they’re still trying to fill that position from January.
