The first two paragraphs are just background and my questions are in the last but the middle paragraph is really important context.
When I got the rejection (after so many already) had an emotional breakdown in the shower and then moved on. But I was cleaning my old email and noticed I got a message from a website I used in college and it was from a recruiter who said they saw my (outdated) profile and thinks I will be a good fit. As a big **** you to the person who rejected me of course I updated my profile and reapplied through that site dancing because multiple people must hire and someone actually sees my potential.
But after stalking my new interviewer I realize they're all the way across the country? Like our interview transcends timezones? When I applied I stated where I wanted to work but I'm coming to the realization my original interviewer might have my cities of interest as their actual domain and the workers in general just help each other or boosts profiles for people in that territory. If I get scheduled an interview with the original person again they might cancel our interview as soon as they see it.
So I need help in how to navigate this. Do I bring it up in my new interview? Do I pretend like this is my first time applying? But then what if my next interview is with the original person? There's a chance they might respect my hustle and the fact that others seem to have taken to me but what if they don't? What do I say? That someone else reached out to me and so I decided to reapply thanks to them seeing potential?
This is of course a worst case scenario but I just feel like I might see them again at some point in this new interview process but I'm hoping not. I tried searching for others in their position but their titles are different for the same position.
