I know this may seem like a dumbass question, but it's real. Folded resumes?

I have an interview on Thursday but the same day I have a medical appointment. I take the bus and the length of time from the med appt to the interview, there is no time to make stops to print one off and bring it.

I can print one off beforehand, but I'd have to put it in my purse. Should I do this or should I be honest with the interviewer and say I won't have the option to print it before.

From what Google says, folded resumes get tossed in the trash. I don't want that to happen to me though and unfortunately I cannot reschedule the appointment.
