I have been interviewing with a company for a couple months now. Prior to my 3rd interview with the department head earlier this week, my HR contact emailed me and told me to be sure to focus on my experience in a specific skill during the interview, as they thought the department head was really looking for that for the team. This is internal HR, not an external recruiter.
I didn’t receive any tips like that for the first two interviews.
At this point, do you think that means I am the final candidate, or at least the favorite? Have you ever gotten an internal tip before an interview before? If so - what was the outcome?
