Hate to leave the flexibility & hate to have to job search for a less flexible position, but ig it’s time to quit.

I keep getting the run around at work.

I was told if “my redemptions consistently increase for the next 3 months (Jan, Feb, March), I can get a raise & promotion to FT on April 1st.”

I asked: are there specific measures I need to hit? Nope. Steady increase.

During annual reviews 2 weeks ago, I was told “I did it! I wanted it, I got it!” after raising my redemptions BY OVER A THOUSAND each week (yes each week!) for the whole month of March (yes (small) consistent increases in the other months).

On April 1st, my supervisor says nothing to me. I uploaded my pics (proof of work) and said something about “working on my off days to make off days on days” but I knew if he hadn’t called, there was BS to sniff out.

Later on, my supervisor made a general statement that if anyone had any questions or wanted to chat, we had an hour to reach out to him. He’s never ever done that before. I felt dismissed. And angry that I had to reach out to him about a raise I was promised... when it’s HIS job to reach out to ME... but I went ahead and private messaged him that I’d love to talk about my future with the company.

He calls me and says “it was approved!!” I say omg this is so great, tysm yada yada for him to say it’ll take about a week for HR to sign off on everything. ... for him to say a few mins later, it may take 1-2 weeks bc a lot of ppl have to approve of the decision 😐

I’m tired of the run around. And then he kept saying “please don’t slack off now.” Like wow, just the congratulations I was looking for for literally making history in the company ...
