Hi all,
I'm 10 days into a 30 day PIP and without getting into the specifics, I'm absolutely certain I will be getting fired at the end. I'm sick of doing this legal song and dance of doing my absolute best for 30 days just so I can qualify for unemployment.
I am wondering, if my performance is so lackluster or unsatisfying that my company decides to fire me at Day 15 or Day 20, would they still pay me normally until Day 30 of the original PIP timeline (in addition to vacation days, 2 week severance, etc)?
I would absolutely love to just mentally do the bare minimum now, and would honestly not give a f*ck if I got fired tomorrow, if my company still paid my normal paycheck for the 30 day stated PIP period. Is this a common scenario?
Anything I can do to get out of this PIP early but still get paid normally for the original PIP timeline, and qualify for unemployment would be great.
Please advice.
