For the past 15 years I've had two jobs that have been really easy and not very much work during the day.
I accepted a job that required a family relocation and based on the first two weeks it is so much more work every day than I've ever done before and I don't know how to handle it.
My whole career has been "easy" and now I have people to manage, schedules to set, clients to call, plus projects to work on. I got a 30% raise to move here but mentally I've never had this much stress. I understand that my previous jobs weren't normal (maybe?) but I don't like it. In two weeks in and sick of the actual work.
I want to go back to my job where I did an hour of work and surfed the internet the rest of the day. I didn't realize how easy it was at the time. But now we've relocated and I feel like Ive made a terrible mistake.
