Recruiter said I passed the phone screening but two weeks later said they’re moving forward with someone else
I got called by a recruiter and went through a screening with them. He said I did great and would message me about a time for an interview loop. He never followed up, and I sent him an email with my availability.
Two weeks pass, I get an email saying that they’re going with a different candidate.
I don’t know what I did wrong. I saw that the hiring manager looked my LinkedIn today and there’s nothing incriminating on there. Honestly, this has been rude experience. No follow up email from initial phone screening, and waits 2 weeks to reject someone.
