I recently decided to start looking for a new position at other companies. During that time I was laid off from Company Y. I had been interviewing with another company (company X) for about 2 weeks when I got notice that my position at Company Y was being eliminated.
Long story short I received a offer after 4 interviews the day after my last day at Company Y.
My question is when if at all do I tell Company X that I was laid off. I signed an offer late last week and submitted my Background Investgation last night. I noted in the BI that I was no longer with company X but as far as the recruiter and manager know I'm still employed.
