I've been unemployed for two years, i'm getting back into the work force. i have a question about prior work experiance.

So i don't know how to explain this, but i guess here goes. So i'm a transgender man, and i legally changed my name. I haven't worked in two years. I lost my job back in July of 2019 due to several things, but it was mainly because i was stuck in a abusive relationship and that is why i got fired. With this being said, i have been unemployed for two years and want to get back into the work force. So the question i have is: i legally changed my name, and the work experiance i had prior was under the name i had before i got my name changed.

So the question i have is: how do i go about with listing prior work experiance under a name that is no longer my name??

Do i just start over?

Do i get new work experiance under my new name?

What do i do?? I don't really want to out myself as a trans person in the interview.

Any suggestions would be great.
