I got accepted to a summer student job who's contract ends in September. 6 but I need to quit two days before my end date. What should i do? Should I tell the employer now or wait till later?

Hi guys,

I got accepted into a software engineering summer job that starts May. 06 and ends Sept. 06. I got an email asking me to sign the contract that also species the start and end date but I have a problem. I need to end my work term two days before the end date (Sept. 04) because I need to get my plastic surgery done in Turkey and i was booked for around that date.

Should I tell this information to my employer now? Or should i tell him 2 months before my work term ends that i need to quit 2 days earlier than anticipated? Like I don't think it's a big deal because its only TWO DAYS difference but at the same time I don't want them to take back the contract if I tell them now >.<

What should i do? It sounds like a stupid question i know but please bare with me 😭 I already accepted the job but now i just need to sign the employee contract form.
