how to get a job w divorced parents

hey y’all ! so i’m 17 and i need a job but my parents are divorced so i’m constantly going back and forth between their houses (they live 4 hours apart). the last job i had, i had to quit because even though i told them about my situation they didn’t accept the time off to go to my dads. so i’m just wondering if any of y’all have any advice for me or if you have gone through this before ? i have no idea what to do so any advice would be appreciated
