I recently applied in a Real Estate firm as an entry level position in a very informal way. The hiring manager who was also the business partner and running 5 franchises liked me a lot. I had 1st interview with him, the next day he sent me the online assessment link, after I cleared that one he asked me for another interview with one of the directors. I had 1-1 interview with one of the directors but as I walked in, he sounded like they don’t wanna hurt my feelings that’s why they’ve called me in otherwise they’ve found someone else. He showed no interest in myself. A week later they emailed me saying that I don’t have the attributes they’re looking for and directors wishes me all the best.
I am changing my career from IT to Real Estate broker, and I need some place to start with, to learn how it all works. I have no experience regarding it. Would it be right if I email the hiring manager and show him my passion and ask him that I’m ready to do unpaid internship because I wanna learn stuff etc.
