I was contacted by a recruiter via Indeed for a position that seemed very tailored to my resume. The recruiter asked me to provide my day and month (but not year) of birth in order for them to submit my application to the position. I'm a bit apprehensive because I was scammed via Indeed before, so I don't want to provide my personal information to just anybody. I tried to find the job posting and the recruiter's contact information on the company website so I could reach out to verify if the offer is legitimate; however, I was unable to do so because this company has dozens of branches and I'm not sure where to look exactly. I'm not sure how to proceed. Is it normal for recruiters to ask for this information?
