Hello everyone,
I currently work in e-commerce and was initially brought on to do photography and product management but over the last couple of years I have more than doubled my responsibilities. My boss wants to give me an official title and make me a salaried member of the team which I'm super excited about! They want me to draw up the proposal myself (as expected) and find a title that is right for me...that's where I'm having trouble. I feel as though I have my hands in everything and I'm not sure what to call myself that is all-encompassing and can justify the raise I'm asking for. Here's an example of some of my responsibilities that I do solely on my own to get an idea:
- create all of the products on the site
- manage inventory of incoming/outgoing styles
- graphic design of site pages both for every day and for special launches/promotions
- managing the backend of the site (HTML/CSS/Javascript)
- organize samples and stock as they arrive
- schedule photographers to shoot said stock
- retouch all of the product images
- manage launch calendar and relay information to the rest of our team
- handle difficult CS inquiries
- create all marketing for email/SMS messaging
There are a couple of other things but this is the meat of what I tackle on my own. I was playing around with something like "E-Commerce Manager" but that doesn't pull in all of the post-production and photography work that I do. Any and all help is appreciated!!
TLDR; Boss wants me to write a proposal for an official title and subsequent pay increase but I'm not sure what to call myself because of the work I currently do wears so many hats such as marketing, production, photography, and site development. I want it to be snazzy sounding because I plan on asking for a significant raise.
