Hiya.
Currently trying to net a job with Staples and they're using Sterling Direct for the background check. I did everything as the e-mail instructed, and provided all relevant info. The report comes back and everything seems to make sense. I have no prior criminal charges, not even a misdemeanor. Never been arrested or written up for anything. The actual process never asked for my work history despite what the e-mail said. I oddly received the e-mail from two different people, but the actual e-mail and site I was led to checks out as completely legitimate. But for some reason after the report comes back, I was asked to submit it twice (which I did because I thought that perhaps something was wrong and I didn't see/notice/didn't show up in the report). Anyone else ever had this happen to them? Or could it simply have been human error?
