Anyone else turned off by “Must be on your A game” workplace culture ?

Hi folks.

Have been on the job hunt, I noticed a lot of job adverts keep mentioning this buzz word “must be on your A game” “always switched on”, as someone who is an introvert and suffer from on and off depression I find this new trend of extreme focus on being always on your A game and switched on etc, I feel recruiters and companies are living this Silicon Valley fantasy where everyone is always on overdrive.

Anyone else get turned off by this sort of expectation from employers ?
