Hey!
So I got hired in November by a company. I am a W2 contractor through an agency, on assignment at a company. I have been given no work really and have just been sitting idle. So in that time, I threw out an application for a job at a very good company in my area and got an offer on Friday which I have accepted. Ive never quit a contract, and seeing as I have no real work to do, I am very reluctant to give notice as I feel they'd just ask me to stop working and i'd miss out on some free pay while I wait for background check/etc to complete at the new company. While I am not really worried about burning this bridge and giving notice the Friday before the Monday I start the new role, It does make me nervous. Any tips or things I should know?
