Is a Windows 10 PC (or MacBook) necessary for applying for jobs online, or is my modern Smartphone good enough?

I am asking this because I don't have a laptop. I only have a desktop gaming PC but the whole set up is a hassle to move around. The table is big and heavy, the office chair is big too but it's necessary for comfort, and my PC case is big and fragile with a glass window so it's best not to drop it. Meanwhile my smartphone is just on my hands and I don't need a table and chair to use it and I can take it wherever I want where there is cellurar reception. And this smartphone is not exactly a potato (as compared to the first smartphones), I was editing my resume with Microsoft Word. I corrected the typo that was made in a desktop PC.
