Finished my first week of training... Can I negotiate with my manager with one of my work days?

I work at a fast food place and I finished my first week of training. I’m already working the register and am serving customers.

On Monday, I will only be working 2.5 hours. Though, I’d like to ask my manager if I can start my shift at a later time for just that day. In return, I will work double or even more hours that day, instead of just 2.5 hours.
