When must my final paycheck be paid to me? (Illinois)

I tried to find this out but everything I could find did not quite seem to match my situation hence my asking here.

I’m 16, and I work at a Subway in Illinois. The store recently went under new management. I was never officially fired by my old employer, and I currently work for the new one. I typically work about 20 hours a week. I was let known of the change in management on December 15, 2020, and ownership officially changed on the 16th.

Old boss said our final checks will be mailed. My last paycheck was the 11th. Do final paychecks just have to be dated by the 25th, and they arrive when they arrive? From what I found, employees in Illinois have to be pie every 2 weeks. Thanks!
