I'm 28, male, and I've been working construction related jobs since I finished high school. After a debt free 8 years, I'll finally be graduating with my degree in Global Studies (a degree is a degree, right). Now, I'm a clean cut guy, good looking, fit (I'm married so I have one person on my side), but manual labor jobs, the whole blue collar scene... you can basically get away with anything. I have hair. Really long hair. It's curly and I think it fits me, but I can't help but think that transitioning from the field of work I'm currently in, to applying for jobs that may require a more, 'professional' appearance, the whole long hair thing could be a hindrance.
What is everyone's opinions on this? I don't want to cut it, but at the same time its hair, its not that big of a deal.
