Stressed about background check through Sterling

I recently got an offer for a job I really want, I could go into depth onto how much I want it, but know its alot.

When I was younger, I was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on 2 counts. One of which was me, I was 21, and I completed diversion and the case was dismissed. The other, I was a passenger in a car and the driver got arrested, but we all got booked for possession and paraphernalia. When I went to court, my name wasn't even on the docket for the day, so I never even saw an arraignment.

I'm concerned they will both show up, but will not show disposition (this has happened before, but it was for my concealed carry permit, which I've had now for 5 years). I purchased a background check on myself, and all that came up was a shoplifting charge from over 10 years ago. I believe the employer background check only goes back 7... so I'm not too concerned about that one.

The job is for a jr developer position, so whether or not it would matter if it did come up isn't set in stone either. I believe they are looking for violent crimes or morally iffy crimes (I'd like input on this too if anyone has any insight) or stuff that would indicate a problem working with others or being trusted. As far as I'm concerned (and I know this isn't the common belief across the board) crimes related to drugs, when there's such a massive disparity of what's a felony and what's a misdemeanor would only come into play if the job involved handling money, or something like that.

I'll cut it off there, as there's not much more relevant information. I can already see that I'm trying to create a bias in answers and I don't want that. Any insight is appreciated, as I'm quite anxious about this and don't know what to expect.

TLDR: How worried should I be if I have dismissed drug charges on my record for a background check for a programming job?
