People who work in creative fields: how do you deal with your friends' success in other fields early on in your career?

Just graduated from UCLA film school in May 2020. I did a bunch of awesome internships in college at places like Sony Pictures and Disney. The money didn't really matter all that much to me because I was working at cool places doing what I loved. My best friend went to school for business and now he's doing marketing for some fin-tech company, making nearly $100K out of school. And now I'm unemployed because the whole industry is pretty much shutdown.

At first I was sacrificing the money for the cool job I was passionate about working in an industry I loved. Now I don't have the money or the cool job. I know this will all pass and down the line, it's still in my future. But for now, it really sucks seeing my friends with way more success in their more practical career fields. I'm happy for them, but still.

The only solace I have is looking at my friends who also work in entertainment and seeing that I'm definitely not alone in the struggle. How do you guys deal with it?
