I made it to the final round for the 1st time since I started interviewing last November...and I didn’t get the job.

Bittersweet. It was such a rush to make it to the final stage, but when I got the rejection email the floor dropped and hasn’t returned.

I want to cry, not because I didn’t get the job, but because it means I have to start applying again. It’s so frustrating spending the last 10 years being a phenomenal contributor to product growth and revenue...to have this as my reward. I really think the only path to getting a job at this point is to be a less honest man and appear more aggressive than polite...all things I hate.
