I hated my job because of how boring it is and how strict /petty they are. I dreaded going to work everyday to the point i would lie to get a day off

This was the very first job i hated so much to the point i would lie to get the day off and if I’m at work i would count the hours & minutes until its time to leave mainly because the job was so damn boring and very slow paced it just wasn’t the type of work i was into. I stayed since i didn’t think it would look good to quit so soon on my resume. (Btw i only lied twice to get out of work)

i asked all of the new hire co-worker this, but the hiring manager told us the job was full-time during the zoom interview. but then when we got the job, we were seen on paper it was temporary, and you have to be “hired in” which she never told us that

the supervisor once got mad because we were 30 seconds late! She overall just petty PLUS THE JOB HAD BEDBUGS😌

About five or six people total had COVID in a span of two in a half months at our job, yet the manager would find any excuse to keep the place open because “we were already behind on product” we only shut down once for the very first case but all of the other ones we stayed open. The crazy thing is, their damn thermometer didnt even work correctly either so its no telling how many others even had it.

It was another guy that was like some sort of perfectionist or robot because the slightest scratch or spec he would see on the product we were working on he would make us redo it. The job was overall very tedious and fragile only the most patient person could handle the work without ending up cursing someone out or quitting on the spot which so many times i wanted to do😖

I got fired after my 90 day trail was up and the excuse they gave was that i was late a few time or sumn in the first month of my trail but they waited until the end of my trail to fire me, which is odd to me but idk🤔

but what confused me was that they complained a-lot about how understaff they were and needed to do a lot of overtime yet the reason they fired me was because i was late a two-three times three months ago

Im kinda relieved that i don’t work there anymore, but at the same time I’m kinda mad that i didn’t quit but got fired. idk maybe its my ego or because this is my first time getting fired🙃

I know it was for the best that I’m no longer working there, because no one should hate their job to the point they dread going to it everyday because its a sign I’m on the wrong path and need to make a change
