I recently started a new job and I’m completing the training at home. There are courses and accounts that were supposed to be set up already and I’ve completed a few with the help of my recruiter. However he said he needed the help of HR on his end for some things. This is no issue to me as I understand there is a lot of paperwork and people involved in the hiring process.
My boyfriend pushed me to be proactive and call the support desk listed. I was able to get information to access a few more of my courses. I texted my recruiter and he said thank you for being proactive, but he sounded swamped. He’s still trying all he can to get information/access from HR for one other account. Should I call the support desk again to try to get that access? I’m afraid I might come off as pushy and annoying, especially as a new employee, but my boyfriend said I have room to be more proactive.
TL;DR Should I try to get the information and access I need myself to complete my training so I can work tomorrow?
