I quit my job 2 years ago to do a Master's full time in hopes of changing careers (I used to be a teacher, I no longer want to teach). I graduated in May and have been applying to jobs nonstop and I haven't even gotten an interview. I was a tad picky at first because I wanted to live in a city close to where my parents live. Now I'm applying to random jobs all over the US, with a lot in locations I do not want to live. They don't even want me. I've had so many people look at my resume and I've been trying to utilized linkedin as much as I can, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm grateful my parents are letting me live with them in the meantime, but I'm just so depressed. How long is this going to last? Am I gonna have to go back to teaching even though I hate it? It's incredibly difficult to motivate myself to continue applying when NOBODY even wants to interview me.
Edit: Should've mentioned I got my Master's in higher education administration, hoping to find a job at a university. I still want to be in the education field, but there's no way I would be happy going back into the classroom lol.
