Existancialism and unemployement

I've always been told to do something I like so I basically built my personality around the career that I wanted to pursue. I've again changed my professional plan this summer but still found nothing.

I feel like my identity is shattered everytime I should consider another career path.

All the coaches say you have to be focused in your job search and build your social media and portfolio like a brand.

But what if you have to change everything again ? all those efforts and especially the emotional labour to project youself in a new carreer or cover letter are for nothing ?

How do you cope with that ?
