Didn't get relocation bonus in writing, now recruiter is MIA

I recently accepted a job offer from a reputable company. Before signing, however, I asked the recruiter for a relocation bonus, and they said they will provide me $9,000, which I was very happy about.

Some time after signing, I got an email from a third-party contractor asking me to discuss moving logistics. Under their terms, the company will reimburse me for travel only—no relocation bonus.

I know now that I should have asked for the bonus in writing. I emailed the recruiter right away for clarification, but they have been unresponsive for the past 3 days, possibly on Christmas vacation. Meanwhile, I've yet to schedule the meeting with the third-party contractor.

How should I navigate this situation? Do I call the recruiter? Do I wait for them to return from vacation? Do I mention the bonus to the contractor? This is my first job, so I'm lost on how to respond.
