My cousin and I are recent grads and she lives in a different state from me but recently got a job in a national company and mentioned to me that they're still hiring for the same position that she's working in now. Would it be worth it to mention in my cover letter how I found out about this position (ie. her) since she's a current (albeit very new, started in September) employee or would that be considered nepotism or something? I know nepotism is a dramatic term to use here but I'm not sure how else to describe it.
