I recently applied for a job I am very much interested in working at around mid to late October and filled out all the necessary things needed as well as passed the drug test. However the background check is taking a long time.. its been going on almost 6 weeks now and is has not gotten finished. I keep being told by the background company that covid is affecting these checks but I don’t believe it.. should I give up and pursue something else or is this actually normal it taking this long during these times? Thanks.
