Is it bad to ask for a reference after 3 months? I'm currently working part time and have a couple of incoming interviews which will be a significant step up from what I currently do and require a reference. I do like my current job and will try to keep a weekend shift even if I land one of the other jobs since they are temp positions. Wondering if 3 months is too soon ask for one. Kind of feel like if I ask it'll sound like I'm looking to leave. I do have other reference to give but they're older and I would need to contact them first.
