Anyone concerned about how many jobs require degrees now?

The problem is that the point of having a degree has lost its original purpose and has come to be seen as a generic intelligence test.

In practice well if someone has a degree then they must have some ability but there are certainly people who don't have degrees but who are intelligent as such, just not university educated but they're not fools.

An engineer or doctor needs to be degree qualified obviously but equating having a degree as a generic measure of intelligence it has huge holes in it.
